Over thirty years of experience as a director, choreographic creator, performer, researcher, teacher and writer, worker in community development and outreach. He founded the modern martial arts dance form,  Tae Kwon Mu, which is internationally recognized.  A VII black belt Tae Kwon Do master, Ki Cheol Bom has worked toward worldwide acceptance of ancient martial arts and of modern Tae Kwon Mu.
He is fluent in Korean and Japanese, and has studied English and Chinese as well.  He has spent years working in all these countries, and has a depth of understanding of both modern and ancient cultures. He is also a specialist in Oriental medicine and healing, and in the relationship of these practices to the development of artistry. Back in Gwang Ju for only a few  years, his work in Tae Kwon Mu and community building is already becoming locally known.
